FAIR E'EN "FOLLOW THE BAND"
Thursday 23rd JUNE 2011
Unfortunately
due to legislation, gone are the days bands could accommodate local requests and
appear at short notice. For future years, please note, band secretaries require
at least 5 weeks notice, before the Fair for special requests to appear, as
application to take the band out on the street has to be submitted to Falkirk
Council 28 days prior to the event.
We are sorry
that this could effect anyone's plans for the Fair E'en, Thursday night, but we have to follow
the instructions issued to the band secretaries. This is now a required
notification that the
website wishes to bring it to the
attention of our town.
