Fair Fundraising Committee Annual Prize Bingo 2016

Huge whole hearted thanks go to the businesses and people who support this event annually and all other fundraisers we hold that are now a vital part of the continuation of our best day of the year.
Thanks to Fisons for the use of their hall and for providing the fabulous bingo caller and bingo books (wee sos)! to all the people who donated raffle and tombola prizes, and massive thanks to the ladies who bake for us, without you all these events would not be possible.
I have to say special thanks to the fundraising committee, great bunch of girls who work so hard and give up their own time and provide the sandwiches for the event, well done all another very successful evening.
Our winners were Karen Broadley, Linda Hastie, Cari Johnstone, Alison Burton, Janice Buchanan, Nancy Campbell, Gemma Livingstone, Honor Blackwell, Carol Hill, Margaret Shaw, Mary Martin, Laurie Mullen, Laura Wilson, Frances Score, Ann Graham, Christine Johnstone, Allan Potters, Katherine Phillips, Laura Stewart, Ann Morgan, Mhairi Broadley & Mima Paterson.
We raised an outstanding approximate 2265. The support we receive is reflected in this amount and we really cannot thank you all enough.
We had a huge amount of tombolla donated this year, a lot of which we sold last night. What we had left we have donated equally between the Queen, Chief Lady & Champion to help them with their upcoming fundraisers.

Bo'ness Fair Over 30's Retain George Simpson Memorial Trophy
Linlithgow 2 Bo'ness 4

A great day was had by all who attended the annual clash between the over 30's representing Linlithgow & Linlithgow Bridge Gala Day and the Bo'ness Children's Fair Festival.
The Fair team travelled over the hill to Prestonfield home of Linlithgow Rose to defend their trophy from last year and to keep the Bo'ness winning streak continue after watching the junior Bo'ness United win for the third time the day before against their local rivals. The banter that was to follow in the game was second to none and a big thank you to Dave Deepsea Paterson and Tam Burns for the organisation of this wonderful event.
Our under 12 team lost 5-2 but they will have their turn next year at Newtown.
