Douglas Park Applications


I have been tasked with dealing with all stall holders expecting entry into the Douglas Park on 28 June 2019 for the Bo’ness Children’s Fair Festival.  Only the units stated on the application will be accepted into the park on the day and no other units can be added.  If you are interested, see below:
Please note that all paperwork must be completed fully and accompanied with the appropriate fee.  Please send applications to the address below together with all paperwork when available or email to douglaspark@thefairday.com
If your unit is a fairground ride you will require to provide a copy of:
•    Public Liability Insurance
•    Risk Assessment
•    9 over 1 Insurance (if appropriate)
•    Electrical Test Certificate (if appropriate)
•    Structural Test Certificate (if appropriate)
All paperwork must be submitted no later than 1 week prior to the event.  Failure to do so may result in your equipment being refused entry into the park.
If your unit is for selling goods or services ie Coffee Stall, Ice Cream Vendor, Novelty Items, Face Painting etc, you will also require to complete provide:
•    Street Trader’s Licence application
•    Certificate of Compliance (Food Hygiene Certificate) from the Council area where the vehicle/stall is stored.
•    Electrical Test Certificate (if appropriate)
•    Gas Safety Certificate (if appropriate)
Please note that the application form for a street trader’s licence including payment can be sent to the address below at the same time as applying for a pitch, if you wish, or can be sent directly to Falkirk Council, Licensing Section, Municipal Buildings, Falkirk, FK1 5RS.   I work for Falkirk Council and if received with your Douglas Park application, I will submit these applications as soon as they are received.  They will then be processed in the usual way with receipts emailed or sent to you when payment for the Street Trader’s Licence is received in the licensing office.
Please note that no silly string or coloured hair spray is being allowing into the Douglas Park
I have attached all relevant forms with this email/letter.
Applications for Douglas Park, Bo’ness must be submitted prior to Monday 1 April 2019.

Prices for pitches – £20 per 5ft of the longest side.  e.g. 20ft x 10ft would cost £80, 10ft x 30ft would cost £120 etc
