UNISON KINNEIL BAND

Bo’ness, Thursday 29th June 2023 from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Route 1 – 7 pm Assemble in Baker Street (Fisons Social Club car park) and proceed east to George Street. Embark minibuses in George Street.
Route 2 – 7:15 pm Disembark mini coaches at Muirhouses Avenue and proceed to 26 Muirhouses Crescent home of Lucy Meikle (Flower Girl) (Discourse music for 20 minutes). Return to minibuses in Muirhouses Avenue.
Route 3 – 7:45 pm Disembark minibuses at Heggie Place and proceed to 53 Muirhead Crescent home of Aimee (Ex Queen). Discourse music for 20 minutes.
Route 4 – 8:10 pm March from Muirhead Crescent onto Charles Sneddon Avenue and proceed to number 67 home of Lexi Scotland (Queen Elect). (Discourse music for 20 minutes). Return to minibuses in Heggie Place.
Route 5 – 8:45hrs Disembark minibuses on Dean Road at the junction with Gilburn Place, proceed to Gilburn Place, Livingston Drive, Angus Road to Kinneil Bowling Club. All band street movement activity completed upon arrival at Kinneil Bowling Club Finish Approx 9 pm

Route – BO’NESS & CARRIDEN BAND

Bo’ness, Thursday 29th June 2023 from 7:15 pm to 9:45 pm.

7 pm Assemble Harrison Hall on Boundary Street Grangepans
7:15 pm Proceed up Boundary Street, turning left onto Thirlesstane turn right at the junction onto Man o War Street to turn left at the junction onto A904 onto Bridgeness Road for approx 0.75 miles turn right onto Fordale Terrace Carriden marching on up through Caffabouts to a small roundabout.
Break off the band and embark coach on Carriden Brae
Disembark at the junction of Glendale Avenue march along Glendale Avenue to turn right along Miller Crescent turn left back along Glendale Avenue
Embark coach to the drum at 51 Muirhouse Avenue disembark coach plays 100 yards to the above address then 50 yards long.
To Muirhouse Square embark coach to Hadrian Way march along Hadrian Way along Graham Crescent back along to Gramsdyke Road down Harbour Road turning left to Fountain Park Crescent back onto Harbour Road to finish at Bridgeness Miners Welfare on Harbours Road  Finish Approx 9.45 pm

BO’NESS CHILDREN’S FAIR FESTIVAL (ROAD CLOSURES)
Friday 30th June 2023

Proposed route – St Mary’s Primary School

Bo’ness, Friday 30th June 2023 from 9 am to 10:30 am.
Leave St Mary’s Primary School turning left onto Gauze Road, Left to Kinglass Avenue, crossroads to Erngath, left to Braehead into Glebe Park for the crowning ceremony

Proposed route – Deanburn Primary School

Bo’ness, Friday 30th June 2023 from 10 am to 10:30 am.
Leave Deanburn Primary School by North East gate, cross the burn into Buchanan Court, Dawson Place, Bo’mains Road, Jamieson Avenue, Linlithgow Road, Braehead, and enter Glebe Park at the main pathway on Braehead.

Proposed route – Kinneil Primary School

Bo’ness, Friday 30th June 2023 from 10 am to 10:30 am.
Leave Kinneil Primary School and turn right onto Dean Road, turn left at the traffic lights, walk down Linlithgow Road then turn right onto Braehead into Glebe Park for the crowning ceremony

Proposed route – Grange & Blackness Primary Schools

Bo’ness, Friday 30th June 2023 from 10 am to 10:30 am.
Leave Grange Primary School and turn right onto Grange Loan, Grange Terrace, Braehead into Glebe Park for the crowning ceremony

Proposed route – Bo’ness Public School

Bo’ness, Friday 30th June 2023 from 10 am to 10:30 am.
Leave Bo’ness Public School via the bottom gate onto School Brae, and proceed up the hill to the junction with Braehead.
Turn left onto Braehead then sharp left again into Glebe Park

Proposed route – St Mary’s Primary School

Proposed route – BO’NESS CHILDREN’S FAIR FESTIVAL  “ROAD CLOSURES”

Bo’ness, Friday 30th June 2023 from 12 pm to 2 pm.
West end of both Stewart Avenue and Braehead, Church Wynd, Seaview Place, North Street, Main Street, Grangepans, Cowdenhill Road, Philpingstone Road, Grange Loan, top of Harbour Road, Grahamsdyke Road, Dean Road to finish at Douglas Park.

ALL CARS AND VANS ARE REQUESTED TO PARK OFF THE MAIN ROADS

7-9 am Bands will be parading around areas of the town between 7-9 am which could maybe have a hold up of a minute or two so please take care on the roads and leave plenty of room if directed safely to pass.

8 am Road signs have been installed to say roads will be closed between
8 am-3.30 pm on the main roads

9 am roads around Glebe Park will be closed including Braehead, Stewart Avenue, the area of Linlithgow Road, Church Wynd to Seaview junction, between Braehead & Stewart Avenue while the schools gather to enter Glebe Park. Followed by the floats and bands as they take up position to filter into place for the procession. They will remain closed until the procession has left.

12 noon Main Procession onwards we would expect the Road Marshall to close off roads which the Procession will take around the town and the junctions that run onto these main roads from the west end of both Stewart Avenue and Braehead, Church Wynd, Seaview Place, North Street, Main Street, Grangepans, Cowdenhill Road, Philpingstone Road, Grange Loan, top of Harbour Road, Grahamsdyke Road, Dean Road to finish at Douglas Park.
