A lovely service by the children from St Mary’s School led by their Queen Elect Lexi Scotland and her Chief Lady Zoe Kelly. With them, her Pages who will have a difficult job next week along with our Chief Lady will have the time of her life with all those moves she will perform with ease.
Also, last year and still reigning Queen Aimee Gilchrist and Chief Lady Alice Markey & Pages.
The school has to take some credit for the training their pupils have gone through to make this happen. Not forgetting former Champion Callum Timms for his conducting of the service.
Finally, Rhys Mayes was presented with the Helen Ward – Birkby Memorial Cup. He was the Sceptre Bearer last year.
