It is with much regret we have to inform you of the passing of Kathryn last week on the 7th of December. Her funeral will be held on Friday 15th December at St Mary’s of The Assumption Bo’ness at 12.30 pm.
I have to apologise for this late post as we hadn’t been informed of Kathryn’s passing until this evening when reading her obituary on Cuthell’s Website. Our heartfelt sympathy goes to Dan and his family at this sad time.
My first meeting with Kathryn was at St Mary’s Primary where she was the school secretary and was well told off for crying her Catherine and later Kath when I had a letter to collect to be excused from work for the Fair Day duties after all holidays had been cancelled at BP due to a major shutdown. We went on to become friends through family since then.
2003 she was chosen to crown Queen Elect Megan Callachan by Chairman David Brown in recognition of her contribution to Bo’ness Children’s Fair Festival.
